DAY OF RAGE? SOME THOUGHTS ON THAT

The internet has been buzzing with reports about an event to supposedly take place on Friday,
July 15,2016 called "The Day Of Rage".....dramatic huh? Sounds a bit like a movie. However, it seems many people think this will happen, but I have my doubts. There COULD be some incidents, just because it is putting the idea into some people's heads. I mean, these incidents have ALREADY been occurring.

I believe this is mostly hype. Anonymous has put out numerous messages saying they did not make the video circulating, and that there were some vigils planned (with no call for violence). So...who is behind all this? Well...it could be some people who want this to happen decided to launch a social media campaign to incite it. It could be something more sinister, as in certain groups with bad intentions would like to start "a race war"....I don't know.

The media is chomping at the bit, and you can bet they are waiting anxiously for any violence to happen so they can hype it even further with 24 hour coverage of isolated incidents (which they will make into something bigger). Fear sells...on TV and the internet. IF this happens, that will be the reason why. The information on the internet is providing places and times that these events are supposedly going to start. It's almost as if they are telling those inclined to participate in such a thing when to start...and where.

There may be unstable or violent people who will use this opportunity for media attention to commit crimes and cause chaos. That is exactly what the people behind all this is hoping. I hope that people will realize this, and no matter how angry or passionate you are about this issue, you will vent your "rage" in a constructive way that is beneficial to your cause, and NOT detrimental to ALL. Use the internet...have PEACEFUL protests.

To the people thinking of doing this.... There are other ways to do it. A violent display will only hurt your cause, and if you want change, you must do it the right way. Don't make yourself look like the bad guy if you want a good outcome. Martin Luther King did a lot for changing things, and never once threw a stone or spoke a word calling for violence. It doesn't work. I hope that the evening will pass and nothing happens but peaceful demonstrations. A lot needs to change in this country, but killing each other and destruction is not the way to get it.

Peace and love to ALL....Kat
